Editor’s Note
An
interesting thing came to light this week – the atom accelerator Connections
that we’d posted up in a Primeval article, listing it only in Doctor Who
(Tardis Console), Torchwood (boardroom) and attached to Connor Temple’s weapon,
was also discovered on the detonation belt strapped to Craig Charles in Red
Dwarf. Guess I’ve a bit of updating to do on Connection articles!!!
So how
are we all – enjoying the heatwave across the world? If you’re in Faro this
weekend, please stay out of the sun, it’s set to rocket to 48 degrees (on the
hot side). That’s not sunburn, that’s crispy!
We’ve
been a little sneaky this month and kept it quiet regarding an interview we’ve
had – purely because sometimes it’s nice to get a surprise read, and we really
know you’ll enjoy reading our interview with the wonderful Gavin Brocker, who
played George in the episode Captain Jack Harkness.
I’m really
pleased with myself because I remembered to remove the Post it Note from the
laptop camera. *suddenly remembers to put it back on*
We have
some cracking reviews for you, and a surprise meeting for a fan of Torchwood in
a market while on holiday, be sure to find out who.
Our
Connections this month has a pretty long cast list, but it’s been an enjoyable
revisit to a popular drama series that has seen a host of Doctor Who and
Torchwood cast appear in over the years.
You
will find all the links for the articles on the above Contents Guide.
Special
thanks to everyone who contributed to this Issue, including Gavin Brocker for a
wonderful interview, Kirsty, and Tony for their reviews and Sharon as ever for
her awesome front covers. Also extra thanks to the Weevil for not running amok
in Ann Summers this month, in search of Strawberry body mousse!
Enjoy Issue 61 – WATNOW End of Days
