Connections His Dark Materials by DJ Forrest

Written by Philip Pullman, and adapted by Jack Thorne, His Dark Materials charters the life of Lyra Belacqua and Will Parry, who are on an epic journey through worlds, searching for Will’s father. Set in a parallel universe, where gaps have opened up to step between worlds, Lyra and Will meet up at the City of Magpies in the Second Series and join forces to find Will's father, and ultimately discover who is hiding in the tower. A tower with no door and retrieve the knife that holds powers of its own, in return for the Alethiometer, currently in the clutches of Carlo Boreal.

The serial is absolutely wonderful and this second season doesn't disappoint. I did notice a lot of Whoniverse cast and felt it was only right that we discover just how many there are, both in front of and behind the camera. It's actually quite staggering how many there are to be honest. (14 pages!!!)

We've done the research so you don't have to.
