We’ve been busy this month with our Who reviews, in
more ways than one. Not only do we have the series reviews, but also book and
comic too. Our Beyond the TARDIS also throws in more Who with a double bill of
Matt Smith – and why not indeed, although I was surprised to find him in the
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies film.
Incidentally, if you’re fans of Matt Smith, do tell
us your favourite role beyond the Doctor that he has played, we’d love to know
what is the most popular of characters.
This month saw our wonderful Toshiko (Mickie) step
down as the Head of Graphic Design to move to pastures new, and we wish her all
the best in her new ventures. It will
mean that we’ll be on the look out for a new graphics designer for our front
covers.
With only three more episodes of Miracle Day ahead
of us, we’re planning on how to replace the episode breakdowns that we’ve been
putting together since Series One. If you have any ideas of what you would like
to see on our site, do please post your comments below and we’ll see if we can
accommodate them.
Issue 44 covers Immortal Sins, which some may enjoy
and which some may not, due to the lack of a certain Welshman in a suit, with
an impeccable taste for coffee! However, for those who enjoyed the brief
encounter between Jack and Angelo, we hope you enjoy this month’s instalment of
the episode breakdown.
No locations this month, but they will return in
Issue 45.
A few shocks this month, the sad passing of John Hurt,
and the sudden announcement that Peter Capaldi is leaving his role of 12th
Doctor at the end of this year. So Who will be his replacement, and are we to
expect a lady Doctor? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
