Connections In The Dark by DJ Forrest

Detective Inspector Helen Weeks, returns to her old stomping ground when her best friend from childhood faces a gruelling time, when her husband is taken into custody with connection to an abduction of two teenage girls.

There are only 4 hour long episodes in this miniseries, parts 1 & 2 deal with the abduction, and the other two deal with the fallout from the pregnancy and it's quite shocking the outcome and who is involved. It's a brilliant piece of British drama by the BBC. Another definite must-see.

It stars MyAnna Buring as DI Helen Weeks, with Georgia Moffett playing a smaller role in the series but ironically, back playing a Jenny! Weird, eh!

We've done the research so you don't have to.

Written by Daniel Brocklehurst who also wrote Safe and The Stranger.
