Written by Jack Thorne and
Directed by Sandra Goldbacher, The Accident is a 1 hour, 4-part drama for
Channel 4, starring Mark Lewis Jones, Sarah Lancashire and Kai Owen, alongside a
host of familiar faces. The drama hasn’t reached our screens yet, but the
trailer was extremely explosive and from the off, I wanted to see more.
In the aftermath of a
tragedy involving teenagers who illegally entered a building site and an
explosion flattens the building they're in, parents look for someone to blame
for the loss of their children.
For me, there’s plenty of
familiar faces to keep me occupied with viewing. The wonderful Sarah Lancashire
and indeed Mark Lewis Jones. So, it seemed only fitting that before the series
begins, we covered a Connections.
