Connections Bulletproof by DJ Forrest



Bulletproof is the story of two black police officers who work to take down hardened criminals in London's East End. Bishop played by Noel Clarke and Pike played by Ashley Walters share a lot of similarities, both smart, streetwise and tough and have each other’s backs.

The series playing on Sky One is co-written by Noel Clarke and Ashley Walters. Having viewed the cast list, it was well worth checking Who else may have appeared in Who first.

Cast 

Mandeep Dhillon played Kamali for 6 episodes in 2018. Played Shireen in Doctor Who episode Knock Knock in 2017.


Noel Clarke played Bishop for 4 episodes in 2018. He was also co-creator and writer of Bulletproof. Surely you don't need me to tell you Noel's role in Who? Noel played Mickey Smith in 15 episodes of Doctor Who from 2005 - 2010. He appeared in the Prelude episodes of Rise of the Cybermen and School Reunion as Mickey & Ricky Smith in 2006 for Tardisodes. From 2005 - 2017, Noel's character Mickey Smith appeared in 15 Who related programmes from The Timey Wimey of Doctor Who, The Culture Show and 12 Again, not to mention Confidential.


Ashley Walters played Pike for 4 episodes in 2018. Ashley was also co-creator and writer. Played Gregor Van Baalen in Doctor Who episode Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS in 2013.


Clarke Peters played Ronald Pike for 1 episode in 2018. Was the voice of Night Eagle in Doctor Who animated series Dreamland in 2009.

Des Hughes was line producer for unknown episodes. Was line producer for 8 episodes of Doctor Who from 2012 - 2013. Appeared in The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot as himself in 2013.
