Hashtag Ianto Jones Day
was celebrated across Twitter on the 19th August 2014, as a mark of
respect for a much missed member of the Torchwood team. Ianto Jones was more than just a tea boy, or
coffee boy for that matter. He was an
integral part of the Torchwood Hub, he was a walking encyclopedia, knowing all
there was to know about more parts of the underground base than even Captain
Jack was aware of.
Because while Jack was
out catching the aliens and scavenging what he and the team could, of crashed
alien ships etc, Ianto Jones was cataloguing and updating files in the
Archives, that and keeping an eye on his cyber girlfriend in the basement. But that aside, we celebrate Ianto’s
birthday, in a coming together of friendship across the globe, of fans who love
and still miss...Mr Ianto Jones.
