stranger to television and appeared as the Sixth & Seventh Doctor’s
companion Melanie Bush. A computer
programmer with a photographic memory.
Roy
Herrick was a British
actor who appeared in episodes of Doctor Who in the Classic era, who sadly died on 11th
October 1988.
Daniel
Sobieray is an actor
and model who kindly allows us to use his image for our character Mitchell.
On this day in 1966, the
film version Daleks’ Invasion Earth 2150
A.D. was broadcast, starring Peter Cushing as the human version of the
Doctor, aptly titled Doctor Who.
Following in line with the serial with a few deviations, the blue box
arrives in the future to the year 2150A.D. where Daleks have invaded
Earth. It featured Bernard Cribbins as
Tom Campbell, Roberta Tovey as Susan, Jill Curzon as Louise, Ray Brooks as David
and Philip Madoc as Brockley.
It was written by Milton
Subotsky and directed by Gordon Flemying.
