Did you know that on
this day, in 1974, the fourth part of The Time Warrior was broadcast. It was the thirteenth-century and a Sontaran
had abducted scientists in order to restore its crashed spaceship.
The story of The Time
Warrior kicked off Season 11 for Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor, and featured
Sarah Jane Smith (Lis Sladen) as his new companion. It also featured John Levene as Sgt Benton,
Richard Franklin as Captain Yates and Nicholas Courtney as Brigadier
Lethbridge-Stewart.
The writer for this
series was Robert Holmes, Director was Alan Bromly and Producer, Barry
Letts. Script Editor was Terrance
Dicks. The series also featured Jeremy
Bulloch and June Brown (Boba Fett and Dot Cotton).
