On this day in 2008 Episode 8 A Day in The Death was broadcast. It was Season 2 of Torchwood. It starred John Barrowman, Naoko Mori, Eve Myles, Gareth David-Lloyd, Burn Gorman and Martha Jones, featuring Richard Briers as Henry Parker and Christine Bottomley as Maggie Hopley.

Owen Harper, dead man walking, feels no pain, sets off no alarm sensors, isn’t affected by much but if he breaks he will remain broken.
When an alien artefact is giving off a series of energy spikes at a reclusive mans property, Torchwood have to intervene, but who can they use. Owen shares his day with Maggie but will she still want to jump when she discovers Owen is already dead?
In 1965 The Web Planet’s 3rd Episode Escape to Danger was broadcast. It was Season 2 and starred William Hartnell as the Doctor with William Russell, Jacqueline Hill and Maureen O’Brien as his companions. Writer was Bill Strutton and Director was Richard Martin.
The winged Menoptra are locked in battle with the ant like Zarbi on the planet Vortis.
In 1971 Episode 5 of The Mind of Evil was broadcast. It was Season 8. Jon Pertwee was the Doctor with Katy Manning, Nicholas Courtney, John Levene and Richard Franklin are his companions. Roger Delgado appears in this story as The Master.
The Master plans on destroying peace talks by using the Thunderbolt Missile, containing a deadly nerve gas, by using prisoners from Stangmoor Prison.
