Praise be to Torchwood.

Red Skies is a Torchwood Audio Drama from the pen of Joseph Lidster (The Sarah Jane Adventures, Wizards vs. Aliens).
Set After Miracle Day, we find Captain Jack in desperate need of a holiday. He heads for Cotter Paluni's World, a planet surrounded by lightning and cut off from any communication with the rest of the Universe. Jack finds a couple of problems though 1) the planets inhabitants are worshippers of Torchwood and 2) he gets arrested for murder!
Red Skies is around an hour long and once you get past the disappointment that none of the questions raised by Miracle Day are going to be answered, it is a great listen. There are plenty of references for fans, and an awful amount of humour in the narrative.
The vocal talents of John Telfer are a welcome break from having ex-cast members narrate as is usual with branded audio dramas and he fleshes out the characters very well.
More Captain Jack than Torchwood but different in this case means good.
